OK so everyone who watches Grey's Anatomy talks about McDreamy and Meredith and recently Alex and Meredith's sister. But what about Miranda? She is cranky, sure. She is temperamental, true. But when the going gets tough, she's always there. This character is one great boss because even if it seems like she hates the people that report to her (and maybe she does, they are kinda whiny), she is there to help them through both a challenging surgery and a personal crisis. Remember when Izzie's daughter showed up and Miranda covered for her? Or how much it pained her to deliver the test news to George last season? Or the clinic that she wanted to run? OK so we don't work for her, oh and she doesn't really exist, but regardless the writers of Grey's have created a boss you can learn from.
